Free Merchant Accounts at PayPal.com
Well, we must admit that at the beginning we have had not few troubles in using www.PayPal.com, therefore read carefully at www.paypalwarning.com , www.paypalsucks.com or the same eBay Forum what others are saying before to use this service.
However, if you decide to use it, remember to have always at least four (4) accounts:
- a primary account to accept credit cards online (Premiere or Business account only);
- a Personal account where to receive funds (to not be charged double with fees);
- a second Premiere or Business account (using another card or banking account) to create funds in case
- finally a reserve account, where to pass the available funds, just to avoid bad surprises with the same Paypal (it likes to freeze users account if any complaint is sent, so all the funds in that account will be lost for ever).
Therefore as for us there are still high fees and too many risks with Paypal to use it as merchant account, but as benefits Paypal offers:
- the advantage to be the oldest and most known payment service, mostly in the States;
- its APIs give you a virtual Kart (purchase of multiple items allowed while visitors are surfing through your site).
1. REGISTER
To accept payments online with Credit Card or Checking Account through PayPal, you have to be already registered.
If you are not yet a verified member, please register first, else go directly to the form below.
2. SEE HOW API WORK (Example: CREATE A BUTTON THAT ALLOWS TO PAY FOR AN ITEM)
Just enter your email address used for your account, the item number, a short description and the price for one unit.
You will have to copy the generated code into your page. Also note the default currency (USD$).
